- Forward Thinking
It’s impossible to be trained on every single situation that we may run into Our admin staff must be able to think on their feet, problem solve, and relentlessly track down the data that we need.
- Tech Savvy
Our admin staff works across many different types of hardware, software and applications. It’s is a common practice to extract data inputted through an iPad/iPhone through an online application and input that data into multiple estimating platforms.
- Attention to Detail
This job is won or lost in the details. Sometime the details aren’t right in front of you and it requires our admin staff to track it down and ensure that it’s correct.
- Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Disasters are never scheduled, therefore we frequently have to pull together to get the job done even if it means working into the night. Beyond that, when we get extreme weather and our customers need us, they need us now. This may mean additional hours or working weekends.
We also have travel for large scale national disasters. This could mean regional flooding across the Midwest or a hurricane striking the east coast. Either way, the mitigation administrator will be required to travel and provide the administrative support needed to get the project properly documented. This could mean being gone for a month or more at a time.

- Reliable Transportation and Clean Driving Record
Disasters happen in the middle of the night. We are responsible for arriving to the Werner Restoration facility within 30 minutes of being called. If you do not have your own transportation, this is next to impossible. In addition, we only put drivers behind the wheel that have a proven record of driving safe.
This is all depending on experience. A mitigation administrator’s annual pay ranges from 30-60k based on certifications and experience.
